The idea that came to me during miracle morning walk today was “one girl’s trash is another girl’s treasure.” The idea came to me based on the wall in the photo above. The picture shows a mural in my neighborhood that has a gate on top of it. That idea makes no sense to me. But this business has had this mural up for more than ten years. So while this idea is trash to me, it is treasure to that business.

Today’s miracle morning idea is all about treasure.
Sometimes you come up with a great idea. I’m talking about an idea that just makes you smile and become giddy with excitement. Sometimes when that idea comes you want to share it with friends, family members, and co-workers. When you do, do not be upset if no one else understands how wonderful your idea is. You must always remember that one girl’s trash is another girl’s treasure.

It would be nice if every time you came up with a brilliant idea people from miles around came to rally to your support. If there was a parade in honor of your brilliant idea that indeed would be wondrous. However, that’s not a realistic goal for which to aim.
Respect your dreams, plans, and ideas as precious treasure.
Remember always that one girl’s trash is another girl’s treasure. This means that your great wonderful and exciting ideas will be a treasure to you. At the same time, they may sound like trash and everyone else in the world. Don’t let that fact alone deter you from going for your dream. No one has an obligation to think of your plans as treasure. That is, no one except you. Dreams, plans, and ideas are precious wonderful things. They are treasure they are priceless.
Here’s an example to explain the idea. Think of your favorite piece of jewelry. That piece that is either wildly expensive or has tremendous sentimental value. Do you let just anyone borrow it? Or is that favorite piece of jewelry something special and valuable that you don’t let anyone else touch, damage, or disparage it. Treat your plans goals and ideas like a precious treasure they are no matter what anyone else thinks.

*** What the Miracle Morning means in my world.***
Recently, I decided to start a Miracle Morning routine. For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, it involves getting up a little earlier in the day. The day starts with you doing SAVERS. To translate that into English, it means:
In my world, I start with spirituality – I read my Bible and pray. Next, I read or write affirmations. I do a lot of work dealing with creating confidence so I read my creating confidence affirmations or spend time creating 1 or 2 more. For visualization, I spend time picturing what will make the day successful. Exercise involves me taking a 20-minute walk around the neighborhood. After my walk, I read. I created a reading list for the mornings. This is a list of books, I want to read for pleasure, for enrichment, or because I need to read them. Finally, it is time to scribe or write. I have decided to turn the things I think about on my walks into blog articles for my scribe activity.
Stay tuned for our next installment in the Miracle Morning series.
