My favorite book is the King James Bible. Over the course of my life I have had several. I read them, write in them, take notes in them. My son asked me for my Bible a few years ago. He asked to keep all my notes and papers. So, I started a new study Bible. I hope to give that one to one of the other children and then start another and a few years later another. I like the poetry and imagery of the King James Version. The words speak to me, they seem to sing in a way other translations do not.

Recently, my husband laughed at me while we were revising our family budget. He said that no matter what our financial situation or how much money we earned, I always spent at least twenty percent of it on books for our four children. It is true. I am not one to buy toys, clothes or food. But, I will always buy my children books. Each of them has a Kindle Fire and I always add books to their accounts. I recently purchased them a Kindle Unlimited account so they could have access to an unlimited number of books all the time. I do not let them leave the house without a book.
I often share books I read with others – my husband, my children, my friends. It thrills me to read something interesting and then run to share it with someone else. For me, it is not enough that I love to read. I feel obligated to help others learn to love to read. After all, how can you not fall in love with the words? How can you not love page after page after page filled with delicious, delectable words!

I love to read as well. If I really enjoy a book I will buy additional books and give them away.
Yes! It is so much fun to hang out at the library. My children look forward to going to the library after school everyday. When they started requesting weekend trips I was thrilled.
