Take action now even if you are always on the go. Being busy is no excuse for failing to take action now to go from dreaming to actually doing the things in your dream. Pull out your technology, take action now and make things happen!
Each day I talk with women from all over the United States who tell me they cannot take action now to achieve their dreams because they are too busy. They are busy with work. They are busy with their families. They are busy with a million things other than chasing their dreams. If the truth is told, most women have dozens upon dozens of things they must do each day. Many of these things are non-negotiable. Children have to be fed and sent off to school. Spouses have to be paid attention to. Assignments at work must be completed in a timely manner. Groceries must be purchased. For many reasons, life is busy, very busy.
Keep dreaming your big, bold and audacious dreams but never forget that if you can dream them, you can achieve them. All my friends and family members are dreamers. I surround myself with people who dream big dreams and then try to live even bigger. Dreams are a wonderful treasure. They are also scary. But the best thing about your dreams is that since they are yours they are always within reach. So often people dream big, bold, and audacious things and then they get scared. They get scared that the dream is too big for them to achieve. They get scared that they aren’t smart enough to achieve the dream. They get scared that the dream is too far off to ever reach. While all these fears are real to the person feeling them, there is still reason for hope.
Take action now with an appreciation for the ability you have to go from dream to reality. Most of the time everything you need to get things done is right inside you, it is important to recognize the skills, talents and abilities that you have. As Jesse Jackson once said, “If your mind can conceive it and your heart can believe it, you can achieve it.”
It is important to take action now so that you control the flow in your life rather than being forced to go with the flow.
It all boils down to who you want to be in control of your life. Do you want to control your life or do you want someone else to control your life? In my world, I prefer to be in control of my life. After all, it is MY life, so I should be the person who controls it. When we are young our parents control our lives. When we are at work, we are under the control of managers, supervisors, and business owners. There comes a point in every person’s life where she must stand up and take control of her own life.
