Once upon a time, in movies and on television shows, writers were portrayed typing away on typewriters and their productivity or lack of same was shown in how fast their hands flew across the keys. If the writer was on a creative streak, there would be almost non-stop clicking on the typewriter keys. If the writer was suffering from writer’s block, the room would be eerily quiet. Today, writers are using desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and even Smartphones crank out masterpieces. Technology makes it easier to be creative in more places.
It is fantastic to use technology to balance home and work.
A while ago my husband, Darren, was doing work that required him to travel out-of-state for two weeks at a time and then work at home for two weeks. Our family is a close one. We enjoy each other’s company and like to hang out, laugh, watch movies, and music videos together. So having him gone for extended periods for a long period of time was hard on all of us. But, I put on my big girl panties and my fake it until I make it (with work) dress and decided to make the best of the situation. I put technology to work and created a workaround
Technology is all around u and you don’t have to be tech savvy to love it. One of the best things about modern technology is that it is changing and improving each day. With each update, technology is becoming more user-friendly and more exciting.
