Fall in Love with Work – It Makes Home Possible — 10 Comments

  1. It is great that you faound a new good attitude. Most importantly I am glad you are happy with your current situation!

  2. I absolutely love my job now! And I haven’t always loved my husband’s job and the hours he works, but I have definitely grown to love it ever since I’ve been home. It’s easy to take these things for granted so I really try not to do that.

  3. You have provided a list of very wonderful things that a paycheck allow us to have. I’m in love all over again!

  4. Thanks! I am glad you liked it. It is like the expression, “you never miss the water until the well runs dry.”

  5. I need to share this with some of the friends I have. They have great paying jobs, that use their abilities and talents well, but they still complain about it. I bet if they ended up losing that job, and their homes, they would have a different tune about that “annoying” job. This was a wonderful post, Janeane!

  6. I like the idea of making the screensaver something work provides the means to obtain.

  7. Yes …its easy sometimes to get caught up in the everyday annoyances. When we focus on all the good things that come out of the pay we get when we go to work, that is more than enough to change a frown upside down. It is also a good thing to surround yourself at work with the things that you are working towards to keep you focused and happy. When I was looking to purchase my VW Beetle Convertible, I changed my desktop image to a beetle at the beach, it made me happy to know that my hard work was going towards something I wanted and it made me more productive and happy to be at work. Almost like a mini Vision Board!

How do these ideas work in your world?
