The organizer of #MakeItWorkRetreat is Janeane Davis, J. D., President and Chief Executive Officer of James, Davis and Associates, publisher of the blog Janeane’s World. She believes that every working mom can succeed and be happy with the right encouragement, inspiration and motivation which is why she created the blog Janeane’s World and why she works each day to create resources designed to encourage, inspire and motivate women to be their best at work and home.
The #MakeItWorkRetreat was designed to encourage working moms to do what it takes to make things go well at work and home by encouraging them to take time away from home and work to learn skills, techniques and tricks to work smarter instead of merely harder.

Too often women don’t improve in their businesses because they have responsibilities at work and home that keep them from learning new skills, getting improved techniques and networking with others to learn new tricks. The #MakeItWorkRetreat is a way for these women to attend the conference either on location or via the internet at a hotel in their home area or from their own homes.
The retreat is held live in one location where there are live participants. Others can participate in the conference events via the internet. Internet participants will be able to see and hear all that is occurring at the live event. They will be able to ask questions via the chat feature on the streaming video software used to stream the conference.
