One common feature of procrastinators is that they have a myriad of excuses. If you listen to their stories, there is always a reason why they don’t take action now and move. Interestingly, the more skilled the person is at procrastinating, the better and more elaborate the excuses. In the end, it all comes down to the person herself. If you want to stop procrastinating you must find a way to push yourself, motivate yourself and force yourself to take action now.
It doesn’t matter how many how-to books, inspirational seminars or get your butt in gear conversations a person has with other people. Until you find a way to push yourself into action, you will continue to procrastinate. You can read the articles, listen to the audiobooks, go to seminars hosted by experts. But the battle does not stop there. You must find a way to take what you learn and put it into action and to push yourself to win the battle against procrastination.
When fighting the war against procrastination, there are battles you will win and battles you will lose. There are some techniques you will try that fail miserably. Other techniques will work in miraculous ways. Then, of course, there will be techniques with results somewhere in the middle. Try all the techniques, tricks and tips you want in order to win your war against procrastination. When you find things that work, remember to get all you can and can all you get. In other words, find as many techniques that work for you as you are able to and remember everything you learn.
