When was the last time you had fun with your family? I mean real fun, not edutainment, not sitting through another recital or work event, but real fun. For many people, it has been a while. This week my family and I are in for a treat. We are going to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia to attend a performance of the Ringling Brothers Circus! I am excited because I have not been to a Ringling Brothers performance since I was a child and my children have never been. I am looking forward to sharing this experience with them.
Families today spend a lot of time on business. For parents it is the business of working and providing a home. For children it is the business of school, scouts and recitals. All these things are important and they are part of what make life possible and even interesting. At the same time, there should be more to life than just business. It is important that we take time out to live, to enjoy life and to laugh together as a family. That is why things like going to a Ringling Brothers performance are important. I am going to the performance on February 12,2014. The following are the dates for the Philadelphia performances: February 12 through February 16.
