A picture is worth a thousand words – but it does all go back to the words.

Visualization is a powerful tool and technique for getting things done. Many people have their to do list in their minds and can easily visualize the steps they need to take to get everything done. This is an important tool and technique. But, visualization and vision boards can not take the place of a written to do list.

If you are a visual learner or visualization is a tool that helps you get things done, you still should write out your to-do list. Once you have the lists in writing use your smartphone to take a photo – then you can use your powers of visualization. If you used your computer to make your to-do list, make a screen shot. By taking a photograph or screen shot of your to-do list you can view it at any time. If you take the extra step of storing the photo in the cloud, you will be able to access the information from anywhere which makes it more likely that you will do the work you need to complete the items on your to-do list.
