Sensational Saturday – Blogspot to WordPress – This Girl Did it Herself — 10 Comments

  1. They were talking about how on blogger you don’t own your content and if you do not self host, the provider Blogger or WordPress.com can take your site down with no appeal possible. I put a lot work into my blog and do not want it to disappear without appeal. I do not want someone else to own my content. I did not want to switch. I like Blogger, it was easier than WordPress. I am still publishing on Blogger because I have a small following there and I don’t know how to forward them to WordPress yet.

  2. You’re right with your instructions it doesn’t seem so bad. 🙂

What reasons did you hear during PowerUp weekend that finally made you take the plunge and make the switch?

  3. Thanks for the congratulations. I checked out your blog and liked you on FB, please let me know when your switch is final, I would love to see how things turn out.

  4. Thanks for the congrats. Let me know when you make the switch, I would love to see the new product.

  5. I am glad was able to help. I checked out your site now and I am looking forward to seeing it after you make the change. Please let me know!

  6. Shelda, there are so many options and little things you can add to make things better and more responsive to your needs. It reminds me of owning a house, there is always something to tweak!

  7. The are great step-by-step instructions! I recently switched from blogspot to wordpress and I love it! I am still manipulating my page to my liking but all-in-all, I love it. Congratulations!

  8. Congrats lady! This has been on my to-do list ALL year! Lol

  9. congratulations! What an awesome feat! I am in the process of moving myself but I just didn’t have the patience so I hired someone, I too resisted the urge for a very long time! you did great!

How do these ideas work in your world?
