One of the great things about being part of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community is the opportunity to share great causes and organizations with my readers. Recently I was honored to be chosen to participate in the Colgate Champions for Kids National Campaign designed to give kids bright smiles and bright futures. This is a wonderful campaign that encourages bloggers like me to work with Walmart and Colgate to do a simple charitable project with Colgate Products.
When I was a young child, my mother worked hard to take care of six children after putting her husband out of the house. At times, dental care was pushed to the back burner. As a wife and mother, one of the things I take special care to do is make sure my children have good dental care and practice good oral hygiene. Another thing I have tried to teach my children is that it is good to help others and to give to charity whenever possible. As a result, it was easy to get the whole family involved in the Colgate Champions for Kids National Campaign.
My twins get a particular kick out of brushing their teeth and showing me how they shine.
