Find the inspiration to take action now and you will win at all you do. Each day there are hundreds and hundreds of things we must do between the time wake up and the time we go to bed. Some days we wake up excited and ready to go. Other days we get up and have no desire to do any of the things that need to be done. We must find out how to take action now to get those things done, even when we don’t feel like it. The important thing to keep in mind is that when it comes to getting things done, desire does not matter. As an entrepreneur, not all of the things we have to do each day are interesting. Some of the things we have to do are hard, boring and of no interest at all. Nevertheless, those things have to be done.
There will always be people who do not believe in the great and wonderful things you can do. Make sure you are not one of them!
Believe in yourself and give yourself the victory, not defeat.
I was talking to a friend recently who was full of defeat. She had plans to do a bunch of things, go to school, buy a house, get a better job, be a better mother. She was complaining that she was failing in all her efforts and that nothing she touched worked out and that it never would. Her husband tried with all his might to convince her to keep going, to look at things in a positive light, to be encouraged and to stay strong. She just could not let go of the defeat.
My son is sixteen years old. Ever since he could talk he just assumed, inferred, and stated that everyone liked him, everyone was his friend, and he could literally do anything in the world. He never let things like reality and hard times deter him from his belief that life will turn out wonderfully. I admire his optimism. I like the fact that he believes in himself and that God will bless his efforts.
Sometimes life is hard, but so what! That is when you need inspiration to push forward. No matter how hard life is, you still have to live it. Find a source of inspiration even when things are hard.
Hard times come and go. The problem is that hard times feel like they are going to last forever! It is like when you go for a massage or are watching a great movie. During those pleasurable things, time seems to speed up. The hour-long massage feels wonderful but like it was only 30 minutes. The great movie seems to be over in the blink of an eye. But, hard things like waiting to hear about the condition of a loved one who has been hurt or meetings to discuss business problems seem to last forever. During the bad times, the bad experience seems to last three or four times as long as the clock says has passed.
